Pricelist
As from Next week, I am planning to reduce the pricelist size to 100 items. It takes too much time to compile the 2000-list item. Sorry for that! The 100 items will be the top buys. Also, you can always ask for the any particular item. I will make it a must to give it to you personally. I will put the pricelist on the Site itself.... What are your thoughts about it? Pls mail me...

The site is already 2 months old now !

"Plus vite, Plus haut, Plus Fort" - Olympic Slogan.
Today, the 24th Olympics are being launched in Sydney, Australia.

The same slogan could be applied to the world of Computers - Quicker, Larger, Cheaper. Computers are getting more cheaper and much faster than they were some years back and they house more storage also. The same can't be said about MS software.. Slower, Fatter, Buggier and more expensive...BTW, anyone of you aware of C#, Cool project.. These are programming languages from Microsoft, ever heard of these.. Let me know...

I post the interview of Vincent Bourelli (Microsoft OEM Business Development Manager - Indian Ocean Islands) - 23 questions in all. More questions are on the way. I forgot to ask them firsthand...

Major modifications of the website structure took much of my past non-university hours and left me very tired. I should have more hours of sleep indeed. All News link will be activated tomorrow, 15th September 2000.

Also will post Jobs to those who are already on the mailing list. Also expect a third pricelist to be out.

Haaaa... Elections fine fini.. It seems that we're going to have a Brand new IT minister and It won't be Sarat. Can anyone guess who will be the next one. From what I read from the newspapers, No one from the Alliance MMM-MSM is an IT professional. Sarat Lallah (for those who did not know it) and her wife Salonee worked as IT Professionals - they are registered as IVTB trainers BTW. ASAP, I'll try to get an Exclusive Interview of That Guy (Or that Madam).

BTW : Do you know How many ISP (Internet Service Providers) India has? 33..... Do you know how many ISP Mauritius has? 1.... Competition bon mo dire ou.

Just heard that SVR - The first President of the Republic of Mauritius has just died and that State Funerals will be organised. A very sensitive period indeed.

Another article has been completed. "20 Career questions" answers almost all questions that may bother you if you are an IT professional - Post tomorrow

As per request of Microsoft Mauritius, I am pulling out ALL Microsoft software from the Make-A-CD. I've asked for an interview and some CDs for my dear viewers en contrepartie. And again, I've been contaminated by the KAK virus. Seems to have become a plague for me. Some personal problems prevented me from updating last time so sorrry to you all.

The article is already online and its title is L'informatique dans les programmes électoraux et le programme de SiliconBits

BTW Pious pilgrimage to all those going to Pere Laval.

Some exclusive news from you. Roxfield Computers, our beloved Sponsor will soon launch a 900 Mhz Athlon Thunderbird Computer for Rs 26,900. Right ! Rs 26,900 will buy you a 0.9 Ghz Computer. If my predictions are right, well before the end of this year, you'll get a Gigahertz PC for this price.... Thanks to AMD and Roxfield.

Lesser exciting news.. We've got a "request" from Microsoft Mauritius to remove their products from our Make-A-CD service. We're still looking at it and we've made proposals for them... We still have to make a living out of this site, ain't it?

I am already late on my schedule sorry for that. I will catch up during the loooooong week-end as well as on Tuesday as Uni. will surely end at mid-day.

No, this site is not **dead**. After 9 days of absence, here it is in its new version.

So I hope that it pleases you. As you can see, sobriety, simplicity and easy access are the keys here. The only graphics are the logo and the sponsors' graphics. I thank the sponsor for its support and trust. The other graphics have been disseminated over the website. The index page has therefore been trimmed to a smallish 72Kb overall. Enjoy!!!. So what's new!

1. The first virtual review is out featuring 3 video cards. Go get them here. Mind you that prices have changed.
2. Please bear with me until the completion of the site "refonte"
3. The pricelist has been updated, Item count up to ~ 1800. Highlights include Prices of Athlon Thunderbird, ATI's Radeon and Rage Maxx. Rules have now changed. You must mail me so that I personally send the pricelist to you ;)
